Today’s meal is from New Moon Cafe. Before I talk about my experience I want to be fair and say that I wasn’t intentionally seeking New Moon Cafe. I had my mind made up that, because of the icky weather, I would enjoy a warm bowl of chili and crackers, but to my disappointment, I couldn’t find a restaurant that served it without pork being added to the mix (I say no the Swine). So here I am dauntingly driving up and down Broad Street looking for something to grab quickly so I can go back to the office. As I’m crossing over 10th Street I see New Moon Cafe and decide to give it a try.
New Moon Cafe offers a wide variety of food including sandwiches, soups, salads, tea, coffee, sweets and breakfast, which by the way they serve all day (Turn Up lol). Since I wasn’t really hell bent on anything in particular, I decided on the meal with coolest name; the G-Love. A philly-style roast beef sandwich w/ bell peppers, onions, mushrooms & provolone on a hoagie roll w/ a side of Pasta. I must say it wasn’t the best roast beef sandwich I’ve ever had, but it was still good. Maybe it would’ve been better if I had gotten my damn chili first lol. Nevertheless, I would still recommend a visit. I’ll be going back to try their Smoked Salmon Bagel for breakfast and Chocolate croissants. They’re located on 936 Broad Street in Downtown Augusta. #EatTalkDriveVibe
