I went to Humanitree House for lunch today. I love going to the Humanitree House because of the vibe, artwork and the essence of the environment in general. Amongst the things that make Humanitree great, the food and drinks hold a special place in my heart. As I travel across the CSRA on this amazing journey in search of the best food, I had to see what this cultural hotspot had to offer.
So today I had my first vegan meal and I have to say… It was delicious! I ordered the Jive Turkee sandwich (not real Turkey of course) and a side of Jalepeno & Lime chips and a “Green Giant” Smoothie. The sandwich was a great transition into the vegan lifestyle for a carnivore like myself. I was actually surprised that it really did taste like a turkey sandwich. (Special Thanks to Arthur for the recommendation). The Jalapeno & Lime chips were filled with so much character and flavor, that you can’t just eat one! Finally, the Green Giant Smoothie… What can I say.. Spinach, Kale, Banana, Lemon and Green Apple. What a surprisingly amazing mixture!
All in all, I love Humanitree and I highly recommend it as a place to relax, hang with friends and eat well. It’s located on the corner of 8th and Ellis Street in Downtown Augusta. #EatTalkDrinkVibe
